Ease

Giving thanks for this Life. For all of it; every breath of fresh Air that I can fill my lungs & blood with in abundance all the time; every moment where my body & mind can renew themselves diving into clean, fresh Water; every day the heat of the Fire in the sun just makes me horny; every moment the Earth's beauty, that I am made of and that I see around me and in every living being, just makes me cry and smile with joy. What I ask for is for every human being to experience this without effort, because it is all our birthright, for f*cks sake! Current humans and those of the future, also those living in areas targeted by deforestation, drilling and mining, those affected by economic and racial injustice, war and occupation, those affected by systemic violence against women and queers. I wish that I am able to change radically in order to contribute to these wishes. May my passion for beauty be strong, may I always realize what sustains me truly, may my Love be unconditionally furious when it comes to defending Life and unconditionally sweet when it comes to nurturing Life.

May I learn swiftly what that means.

Practically, politically, spiritually.

And eventually, like a tree, like a river, like the ants, take my place in creation, a place where I make sense and sustain myself and those around me effortlessly, egolessly, effectively, with joy. May it be so.

Life is Sacred

Life is Sacred. All Life is. In word form, this is just kitsch. But it can be experienced. And this will change you forever.

Last week, plants and animals, earth, wind, water and fire facilitated "my" course in energy healing & bodywork that I was organizing with a small group of committed Reiki students to deepen their practice. All that we learned about bringing harmony and connection, about sound, movement and breath, we were taught directly from garden trees, forest springs and little rivers, from bumble bees, ducks and sheep, from the crackling of the fire and the songs of the wind. No teaching could be more precise, no theory more complex and at the same time nothing is less complicated.

All it needs is to move through life with open eyes, awake, to listen with a sentient heart.

Not sentimental, but sentient.

Nature will start to talk and reveal itself, as family. To everyone.

So grateful to this family and their teaching and humour. Also a heartfelt thank you to the group that put their trust in my work and made time and space in their life for it to unfold. Such a joy!

Excerpt from the first half of my theatre show BORN TO MAKE YOU HAPPY that came out in 2017 at Mousonturm Frankfurt, which starts as a song recital. After one hour we leave the stage and somehow everyone starts dancing in the foyer of the theatre, drinking raw cacao, then we take the streets, howling, and 30 minutes later I am wearing a beautiful dress and guide the audience through deep emotional release while singing Michael Jackson's Earth Song together. In the end, people are cuddling and singing together on a big fluffy carpet in the back of the stage, channeling their future selves, looking back at the empty seats where it all started. Theatre is about just this: we decide which game we wanna play. Social situations are made by people, they can be changed by people. Every structure can melt and turn into a new one, more free, more connected, more at ease.
